Parents

Seirrah OT work with parents to help their child access the correct support to enable them to be as independent as possible, access learning, and develop skills needed to be successful at home, at school, and in the community. At Seirrah OT we aim to make a difference to children’s lives by prioritising goals individually tailored to that child’s needs. We listen to parent’s concerns at every point of our process; throughout the assessment and intervention ensuring that each stage is personalised to suit the child’s needs and circumstances.

Schools

At Seirrah OT we work with mainstream, special, independent, and residential schools to carry out services for young people with conditions such as: ADHD, dyspraxia and autism. Seirrah OT can support with Individualised Education Programme (IEP) as well as setting up an Occupational Therapy service. We work with challenging behaviour, emotional challenges, and social difficulties. We are able to provide support and training to teaching personnel on a range of topics such as:

  • Sensory processing
  • Handwriting
  • Dyspraxia

One of the main features of our school services is provision of group therapy sessions or training in how to set up and deliver such groups. An example of groups we offer include:

Local Authorities

Seirrah OT provides Occupational Therapy services for Local Educational Authorities (LEAs) to provide the following services:

  • Assessment
  • Training
  • Consultancy
  • One to one and group therapy intervention

Seirrah OT supports school personnel, children and families. We are currently engaged with LEAs across the UK and can be commissioned on a one off, weekly, monthly, half termly, or termly basis.

NHS

GP’s and commissioners can access our services to provide a range of additional specialist support for their patients and family members. We can provide:

  • GP support services
  • Face to face Occupational Therapy service (clinic or community based)
  • Assessment and treatment waiting lists
  • Support for Early Intervention through advice and direct one to one therapy sessions
Charities

Seirrah OT work with a range of charities to help support children, young people, and their families. We provide assessments, home visits, school visits, training, and facilitate regular walk in advice clinics in collaboration with charities and other organisations.

Organisations

Seirrah OT work together with organisations to provide a package of care and treatment that is individually tailored to the needs of every child, adolescent, and young adult.

We support a range of therapy companies and aim to work alongside each other to provide a variety of professional services supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with their individual needs within the home, school, and community environment.

Solicitors

At Seirrah OT we work with several of the UK’s leading educational law firms and parent advocacy services. Our specialist Occupational Therapists are able provide assessments, reports, and stand as expert witness during Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunals (SENDIST).

Our experts ensure that any case they are working on meets the required deadlines for evidence being submitted and provide an independent, accurate, detailed report outlining adequate quantified provision to meet the individual needs of the child in order to access education.

Our Occupational Therapists work with insurance companies to carry out assessments, treatment and report writing. We offer a high quality first class service with a short turn around period for all documentation and reports.

Occupational Therapists

Seirrah OT work with and alongside Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy assistants, and Occupational Therapy students to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for each individual we work with either directly or indirectly.

We offer supervision services to Occupational Therapists across the UK and support with student practice placements.

Colleges and Universities

Our Occupational Therapists work with colleges and universities producing seminars and workshops for health and education students as well as support individuals to access learning.
